Cherry Tart



Base Ingredients:


  • 150 g Digestive-cookies
  • 75 g melted butter
  • ½-1 tsp cinnamon
Filling:

  • 400 g Philadelphia cheese
  • 1½ dl sugar
  • 3 big eggs
  • 1 dl sour cream/cream
  • ½ lemon juice
  • 1½ dl vanilla sugar
On top:

cherry jam, fresh cherries

Method:


  1. Crush the cookies well. Add in cinnamon and melted butter. Press the mixture onto a pie dish.
  2. Bake in 175 degrees for 5 minutes.
  3. Cream the cheese until smooth with a blender. Add the rest of the ingredients into the cheese and mix well.
  4. Pour the mixture into the baked pie base.
  5. Cook on 175 degrees for 45-50 minutes.
  6. Once baked take out of oven and spread on top a thin layer of cherry jam and add whole cherries for decoration. 
  7. Serve once chilled. Enjoy :D
